I recently decided to change my living room drastically and I love it. I have a whole lot more room now and I have the area to move around in that I have always desired.

I had a large living room and a medium sized dining area to begin with. We sit in the living room to watch TV but, in the colder months, this was difficult because our fireplace is located in the dining room. The rooms were separated by a wall that blocked most of the heat and with the fireplace, a large dining table, and a china cabinet of considerable size in the dining room there just was not room left to move the TV in there where it was warm.

I knocked out the wall and then added new carpet throughout. I then had room to move the furnishings around and it made a huge difference. I added an entertainment center that is located in perspective with the dining area as well as the sofa and chairs from the living room. It is really great to sit close by and watch the fireplace as well as the TV.

This type of Sears Home Improvement did not take but a few days to complete and it added to the atmosphere and value of the home. My home is now very comfortable and inviting for not only myself but for family and friends as well.
